This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role supports an elementary caseload in a K-12 school setting in Los Angeles, CA. The position is a contract assignment running from ASAP through December 19th, with the possibility of an extension that may involve a change of site. Open to candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and assist with parent communication
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current SLP certification and eligibility for licensure in California
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary students
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively
- Knowledge of K-12 speech-language therapy practices and educational regulations
