Speech and Language Pathologist in Lorman, MS
Step into a fulfilling opportunity working as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. You’ll make a real impact supporting K-12 students across two sites, utilizing your expertise to empower children in their communication and learning journeys.
This contract role offers two positions, each with a steady 40-hour work week and a manageable caseload of approximately 60-70 students. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a leadership team eager to review candidates for interviews beginning in early June.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) is required
- Previous experience in a K-12 or pediatric setting preferred
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to a variety of age and developmental levels
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for a K-12 caseload across two school sites
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
