Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for strong CF candidates
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose a variety of communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and parent consultations
- Offer training and guidance to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and engagement
