Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Recent experience in a school environment (K-12)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload and adapting to diverse student needs
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders using appropriate assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field
