Speech Therapist in Anaheim, CA
A school-based, part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Anaheim, CA, offering a supportive and collaborative environment focused on student success. This onsite, contract role is perfect for an SLP who values mentorship, teamwork, and direct involvement in individualized education programs (IEPs).
Position Details:
- Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 7 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 2026
- Location: Onsite in Anaheim, CA
- Service Model: SLPAs provide direct student services under SLP supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing clinical expertise and guidance
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Support compliance, documentation, and quality assurance in speech services
- Collaborate closely with school staff and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
- Ensure service delivery aligns with best practices and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or equivalent state credentialing
- Experience working in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong skills in collaboration, leadership, and mentoring
