School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Locust Grove, Virginia
Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional support to students across K-12 in a contract role. This full-time opportunity involves 37.5 hours per week working within a supportive school environment near Locust Grove, VA. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Active state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start.
- CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered and are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Flexible approach to caseloads—please indicate if you have preferences for age range or specific caseload needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with a range of needs.
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and document student outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Provide engaging, evidence-based interventions in both individual and group settings.
