School Speech Language Pathologist - Locust Grove, Virginia

We're seeking a dedicated professional to support a dynamic caseload, covering maternity leaves for two valued team members. This full-time contract opportunity, spanning 37.5 hours each week, is perfect for those committed to empowering students with communication challenges. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and ASHA CCC, or CF eligibility
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required—new graduates ready to begin their CFY are encouraged to apply
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across K-12 (flexibility for specific age group preferences)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete assessments, develop interventions, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student success
- Support students and staff in two school settings while covering both short-term and slightly longer maternity leave assignments, running from November through March
