School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lockport, New York
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a vibrant primary school setting near Lockport, NY. Starting September 8th and continuing through June 25th, you’ll support a caseload of approximately 50 students, primarily within one school building.

Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLP - CCC and SLP - School credentials required
- Previous work in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge and hands-on familiarity with AAC devices
- Background supporting students with autism is highly desirable
- Enthusiasm for working with a primary student population
- Skilled in collaboration, organization, and individualizing therapy plans
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 50 primary school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize AAC technology to enhance student communication
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress, keeping families and staff informed of achievements and ongoing needs
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and school events as needed
- Keep therapy engaging, inclusive, and adaptive to meet the diverse needs of students
