Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology licensure
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF considered
- Previous experience in early childhood/pre-K and school-based settings ideal
- Proficient with IEP processes, development, and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to perform assessments and provide direct speech/language services
- Skill in monitoring progress toward established goals and objectives
- Preference for candidates with ELL training, an ESL endorsement, or a Linguistically Diverse Education (LDE) Endorsement
- Ability to assist in supervision of SLPAs as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to preschool and K-8 students in an educational setting
- Complete assessments, write reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress, collaborate with teachers, and maintain data-driven documentation
- Support English language learners and adapt interventions for diverse linguistic needs
- Provide guidance and assist in overseeing SLPAs to ensure quality of services
