School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Littleton, Colorado
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in the Colorado mountain communities of Idaho Springs and Evergreen. This full-semester contract position offers a meaningful way to make a difference in the communication and language development of students ranging from PreK through high school.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to a mild to moderate caseload of approximately 25 students
- Deliver therapy and support tailored to individual student needs across various grade levels
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to monitor student progress and adapt interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with billing procedures for services rendered
- Work onsite Monday through Thursday, dedicating 30 hours per week to direct student support
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience working in a school setting with PreK-12 students
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload with diverse communication needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with school personnel
- Familiarity with billing processes in educational settings is a plus
