Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP credential (SLP TX)
- CCC-SLP preferred, but clinical fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings desired
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to ethical practice and student-centered care
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders in middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate students’ success
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
- Provide support and mentorship for CFY candidates if applicable
Those selected will enjoy a competitive pay rate of $50 per hour, for a 37.5-hour workweek across five days each week during the academic term.
