Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure permitting work as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school environments
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focusing on each student’s strengths and challenges
- Deliver direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student achievement
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with school and federal guidelines
