Position Details:
- Location: Liberty, MO
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Duration: Beginning between May 6 and May 13 through May 22, continuing for Extended School Year (ESY) from June 1–30 (excluding June 19), and coverage projected for the start of the 2026–27 school year in August (dates subject to district calendar finalization).
- Setting: Elementary school with onsite work required
- Caseload: Focused on students with significant communication needs
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse communication disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with educators, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings
- Design and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies
