A full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing services in local schools. This role focuses on direct student support and effective team collaboration, allowing you to work with a diverse range of students and contribute to their academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required)
- Prior experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to split time among multiple school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Support students in specialized programs, particularly in educational support and behavior-focused classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective interventions
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and service logs
- Engage in IEP meetings and team planning sessions as needed
- Provide overflow support to additional sites within the district on a rotating basis
- Contribute to the positive, supportive school culture through ongoing communication and professional collaboration
This position offers stable, full-time daytime hours (9:00am–4:40pm, Monday through Friday) throughout the school year, giving you a predictable schedule and ample opportunity to build rapport and make a difference.
