Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CF new graduates are also encouraged, with district supervision available
- Previous experience with school-based caseloads, especially serving students with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities, is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approach to meet a range of student needs
- SLPA credentials are not accepted for this position
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a dedicated caseload of up to 35 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
