This contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) seeking an engaging, supportive environment within both an elementary and a high school setting. With the flexibility to organize your workweek around students’ needs, you’ll be empowered to provide services where they make the greatest difference.
You’ll manage a caseload of 60+ students, with ongoing efforts underway to reduce numbers and increase support. An SLPA will also be joining soon to help ensure every student receives the highest level of service possible. You’ll be serving two campuses, with the authority to determine your own daily workflow.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC credential and relevant state licensure
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Confidence in managing a larger caseload and collaborating with campus and district teams
- Ability to design and adjust your weekly schedule based on student priorities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary and high school students
- Complete assessments, develop IEPs, document progress, and communicate with families and staff
- Travel between two schools, with flexibility to create your own workweek structure
- Work closely with other SLPs, SLPA, and special education professionals
