School Based Speech Language Pathologist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based, contracted position near Zionsville, IN for the 26/27 school semester. This opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about working with children and adolescents from preschool to 12th grade. Serving multiple school sites, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a team of dedicated educators and professionals, impacting students across diverse environments.
This position offers a high caseload, with approximately half comprised of non-pub students, providing variety in your day and unique learning opportunities. Create meaningful connections and develop tailored interventions that support communication growth across different student populations.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school locations as assigned
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for diverse student needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to a broad range of students with varying speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Effectively manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality of service
- Maintain consistent and accurate documentation to monitor student progress
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and staff to foster student success
- Adapt strategies and supports for both public and non-public placements
