Pediatric School-Based SLP | Lawrence, Massachusetts
This position involves providing speech-language pathology services in a PreK school setting in Lawrence, MA. The role requires an active Massachusetts SLP license and experience working with pediatric populations in schools. This contract opportunity starts immediately and runs through June 17, 2026, offering a flexible schedule of approximately 15 hours per week with 10-15 students on the caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for PreK students
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to the needs of young children
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and caseload records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Experience working in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and school staff
- Credentialed or certified SLP with applicable certifications such as SLP-CFY or CCC-SLP
