A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students in a school setting in Laurens, South Carolina. This role spans from July 27, 2026, through May 31, 2027, serving approximately 50 students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This full-time opportunity involves a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Current South Carolina license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- South Carolina Educator Certification
- Experience or certification as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with children and school staff
