Qualifications:
- Hold a valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
- South Carolina Educator Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience providing services within a school setting (elementary, middle, and/or high school) is preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and administrative staff
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working onsite and interacting directly with students and staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language intervention to students across K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language services into the school environment
- Maintain accurate and thorough records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and other school-related communications as needed
- Provide education and support to families and caregivers regarding students’ speech and language development
