Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary-age students, with caseloads kept under the state maximum of 60 students.
- Support additional coverage at one or two elementary schools or a combination including preschool daycares and itinerant responsibilities.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations related to speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with school-based experience.
- Strong understanding of elementary-level developmental speech and language disorders.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while providing individualized treatment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and educators.
- Flexibility to work between 3 to 5 days per week, up to 7.5 hours daily, with a schedule totaling less than 37.5 hours weekly.
