Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Columbus, MT
This position is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting, primarily serving students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. The caseload includes approximately 89 students, offering a dynamic and impactful opportunity to support pediatric populations in an educational environment.
Location: Columbus, MT
Schedule: Contract position, 32 hours per week, 5 days per week
Duration: Start ASAP through End of School Year (EOSY)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to students’ needs from K-12, focusing mostly on early elementary grades.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress according to state and federal education guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in Montana (MT) required.
- Experience with pediatrics, particularly in school environments, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for pediatric speech therapy.
