Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Maryland SLP licensure (active and in good standing)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- At least one year of school-based experience preferred—but exceptional references or related experience welcomed
- Ability to pass all time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including a House Bill background check
- Willingness to provide documentation of licensure
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse student population across up to three schools (exact locations and assignments tailored to your strengths and comfort)
- Manage caseloads ranging from elementary (maximum 40 students) to middle school (up to 48–57 at peak times)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans in partnership with school staff and families
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and assist with compliance documentation
- Participate in ongoing supervision, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
