Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist credential or certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings supporting pediatric populations
- Adept with assessment tools, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student development
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for holistic student support
- Provide support for students across a range of communication and language needs
