Desired Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license (CCC required; Clinical Fellows not accepted)
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary-aged children
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to K–4 students in alignment with IEP goals
- Consult regularly with teachers, support staff, and families regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, provide recommendations, and advocate for students’ needs
