Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Pennsylvania state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- Strong background in assessing and diagnosing a range of communication disorders in school-aged children
- Ability to effectively communicate complex results to families and educational teams
- Competence in developing culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment protocols
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, including Spanish-English bilingual assessments
- Document findings, write clear and timely evaluation reports, and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and psychologists to support Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Serve as a resource, providing guidance on language acquisition for English Language Learners (ELL)
- Maintain accurate student records and follow all district and legal compliance standards
