Step into a rewarding contract position providing speech-language services to middle school and freshmen students. This full-time opportunity begins August 24, 2026, and extends through January 19, 2027. Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for state licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience with school-based speech services, ideally with grades 8 and 9
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in managing IEP caseloads
- Effective communicator and collaborative team member within multidisciplinary settings
- Must be available in-person for the full duration and adhere to the 6-day cycle, 7:30am to 2:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and small group speech therapy sessions to 8th and 9th grade students at dedicated grade centers
- Provide case management services for approximately 8-10 students with Speech Only IEPs, collaborating closely with staff and families
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to student goals and needs
- Continuously document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer consultative support and expertise to classroom teachers regarding student communication goals
- Uphold professional and ethical standards at all times
