Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lansdale, PA

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, consultative, and group speech-language therapy services tailored to each student’s IEP goals
- Assess, develop, and implement communication systems including AAC devices, eye gaze, tactile/picture solutions, and low-tech alternatives
- Integrate functional communication strategies throughout daily routines
- Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to foster consistency and progress
- Document progress, maintain compliance with all required records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Guide and support staff to maximize student independence and inclusion
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility in Pennsylvania
- Credentials as CCC-SLP or CFY candidate welcomed
- Expertise in working with non-verbal students and augmentative/alternative communication preferred
- Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience adapting strategies for students with visual impairments and additional disabilities considered an asset
Details to Know:
- Orientation begins August 24th; students start August 31st
- Contract runs through June 11, 2027 (with possible makeup days)
- 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
