Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans and maintain documentation in compliance with school and legal regulations
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement effective treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to address student progress and adjust interventions
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
- Educate students, families, and staff on communication disorders and strategies
