Step into a rewarding role supporting students across K-12 with speech and language needs. This contract position places you in a dynamic school environment near Lancaster, PA, working with learners from kindergarten through high school. You’ll have the opportunity to provide critical speech-language services to a manageable caseload of approximately 47 students, making a real difference as the school year wraps up. The assignment runs from April 20 through June 10, with regular hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM daily.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably across elementary, middle, and high school levels (K-12).
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Dedication to assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Passion for collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate student records.
- Consulting with teachers and parents to implement strategies supporting student success.
- Participating in IEP meetings and supporting school-based interventions.
