A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in Lancaster, PA, approximately 40 minutes from York, PA, and near the Maryland border. This on-site contract role requires direct, hands-on patient interaction with no assistants, providing comprehensive therapy services to students in need of speech-language support.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations in educational settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Provide therapy to students with communication disorders, including pediatrics and those in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress
- Utilize teletherapy tools as needed, while ensuring the majority of services are delivered on-site
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology and CFY eligibility or completion
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with pediatric populations
- Proficiency in teletherapy and pediatric speech-language pathology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
- Ability to work independently without assistance to manage caseloads and treatment plans
