School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lancaster, New York

Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New York state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or actively working towards it (CFY)
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide direct therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide both direct and consultative speech-language services to students
