Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and group speech therapy to students with various speech and language disorders, with a focus on autism spectrum conditions.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Work on-site at the Lancaster, CA campus, ensuring consistent, in-person therapy sessions.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed, supporting overall team effectiveness.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy and familiarity with pediatric populations.
- Comfort and proficiency in working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Ability to engage effectively in a collaborative educational environment.
- Previous experience or interest in teletherapy is beneficial but not required for this in-person role.
- Willingness to travel as part of the job responsibilities.
