Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Valid Washington SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, sessions, and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments and modifications
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology
