Travel Speech and Language Pathologist in Lakeside, CA

This opportunity offers a dynamic role as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving K-8 students in a school setting located in Lakeside, CA. This position is ideal for dedicated professionals holding a CA SLP License or CA Multiple Subject Credential with a specialization in Speech-Language Pathology. The role is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned caseload
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to students, adhering to a caseload model
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with special education staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation within the district's IEP system; training provided
- Supervise Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as applicable
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- California Speech-Language Pathology License or California Teaching Credential with SLP specialization
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school, healthcare, or teletherapy environments
- Familiarity with caseload management and IEP development
- Ability to work in an itinerant model, traveling between assigned schools when necessary
- Commitment to professional development and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
