Step into an impactful role supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This rewarding opportunity spans the academic calendar from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers a full-time schedule, averaging approximately 33.25 hours each week. You’ll work on-site, providing direct, in-person support to a diverse caseload in a welcoming educational environment near Lake Zurich, IL.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed (or eligible) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- Previous experience working with K–12 students in a school setting
- Skilled in evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy sessions in person to support academic, social, and emotional growth
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Collaborate closely with general and special educators, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support student success
- Engage in ongoing professional learning as part of the collaborative school community
