SLP in Lake Worth, FL
Exciting opportunities await passionate Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make a difference in school settings near Lake Worth, FL! We are looking for enthusiastic SLPs, including Clinical Fellows (CFs), for part-time, contract positions working exclusively on-site during the Extended School Year program from June 10, 2026, to July 16, 2026. Supervision and mentorship are fully provided for CFs. These roles are not open to SLPAs.
Candidates will work at either Royal Palm School (serving PreK-12, with hours between 8:00 AM and 3:45 PM, Monday through Thursday) or Indian Ridge (K-12, from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Thursday). Each SLP will be assigned to a single location—no itinerant assignments are required. Caseloads will focus on supporting students’ communication needs across a wide age range in vibrant, collaborative school communities.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida provisional SLP license issued by the Department of Health
- Eligible to work in a school setting in Florida
- Willing to complete school district and AHCA fingerprinting
- Successful internal eligibility and video interviews
- Ability to start and remain on-site for the duration of the contract
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered care
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver therapeutic speech and language services to students, PreK-12
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and supervisors (CF supervision provided)
- Document progress and maintain compliance with IEP and program requirements
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
