Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, assessments, and progress documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document findings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and progress reports
- Educate students, families, and staff on strategies to support communication growth
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment in the school community
