Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality speech and language services to students, collaborating closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans and track progress.
Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting speech and language screenings under SLP supervision

Implement therapy activities and treatment plans created by the supervising SLP

Document student performance, maintain accurate records, and prepare materials
-
Support IEP goals through targeted interventions
-
Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families

Participate in team meetings as needed
Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field

Current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one in the state of practice

Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively in an educational setting

School-based experience preferred but not required
