You’ll work 37.5 hours per week in a role that prioritizes onsite presence, with the flexibility for a short-term virtual option (30-60 days) to get you started. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 10, 2027, providing both stability and the satisfaction of seeing students’ growth over time.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active California Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience or interest in working within school settings, preferably at the middle school level
- Ability to thrive both onsite and virtually as needed
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners’ speech, language, and communication outcomes
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to middle school students
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Support IEP processes through evaluation and attendance at team meetings
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment for all students
