Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential
- Demonstrated experience providing school-based speech therapy, preferably in elementary settings
- Strong background in completing comprehensive student evaluations
- Ability to collaborate with special education teams and adapt approaches for diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassion, patience, and creativity in engaging young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person speech-language intervention to elementary students
- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify student needs and update progress
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, especially for students in Applied Skills programming
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to support student growth
- Maintain accurate records and data to track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings as required
Role Details:
- Contract position spanning October 12th through March 26th
- Work hours: 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday
- Deliver all services on-site at the elementary level
