Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Kendallville, IN

This position involves delivering dedicated, in-person speech-language services, including both direct therapy and comprehensive evaluations for a caseload of approximately 60 students, some of whom participate in Applied Skills programming. You’ll work closely with fellow educators and staff in a vibrant, supportive environment, engaging with students daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., from October 12th through March 26th.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP) in Indiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings highly preferred
- Confidence conducting evaluations and developing tailored intervention plans
- Experience with students in Applied Skills or special education programs is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, in-person speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments, using a variety of standardized tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEPs and educational goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records for all assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and family members to support each child’s success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
