School Speech Language Pathologist - Ladson, SC

We have a contract-based opportunity available for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is eager to contribute to students’ success for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is suited for someone experienced in a school setting, passionate about pediatric speech therapy, and licensed to practice in South Carolina.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- School-based SLP experience, especially with elementary caseloads
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse elementary caseload, providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with local and federal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track and report on student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
This contract position follows the academic calendar, with hours closely aligned to 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., providing a predictable schedule with dedicated time for planning and collaboration.
