Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience supporting elementary-aged students preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based caseload management
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and IEP development skills
  • Flexible and organized, with the ability to adapt to diverse student needs
  • Commitment to fostering an engaging educational atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to students with speech, language, and communication disorders within an elementary setting
  • Coordinate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy tailored to each child's unique strengths and challenges
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborate with school support teams
