- Strong knowledge of the IEP process and ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings within the school environment
- Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success
- Deliver both direct and consultative services per students’ IEP requirements
- Use evidence-based practices to provide therapy and monitor student progress
