Requirements and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license for Illinois (or eligibility)
- Experience with school-age populations, including students with complex needs
- Ability to travel between assigned locations
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
- Flexibility and openness to new therapeutic environments
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering direct and consultative speech-language services in both classroom and individual settings
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Maintaining clear records and progress notes while adhering to district and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
