Desired Skills & Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship eligibility
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable working with complex needs and diverse student populations
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy for students in specialized self-contained classrooms and a general education environment
- Develop and implement treatment plans, track student progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Work one day each at two different specialized classrooms, supporting students with complex communication needs
- Provide half a day of focused therapy for a speech-only caseload in a parochial school setting
- Partner with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to support students’ educational goals
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each site and student group
