Candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and a passion for school-based practice will thrive here. Approximately 60 students will be assigned per SLP, spanning a mix of grade levels from preschool through high school, including special programs. Your expertise and preferences will help determine your specific caseload and 1-2 assigned campuses.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for Texas and ASHA CCC required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Capacity to handle diverse caseloads across PK-12
- Comfortable working onsite at one or two campuses
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct assessments, write and implement IEPs, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Adapt strategies to meet a variety of student needs and grade levels
- Participate in eligibility, ARD meetings, and support ongoing progress monitoring
