An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CF) at multiple elementary school locations for the upcoming academic year. This onsite position offers the unique chance to partner with a supportive school staff, working with K-5th grade students in a vibrant learning environment.
Your expertise will help guide a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students, fostering communication skills and supporting individual education plans. As part of this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families, ensuring students receive tailored support and meaningful outcomes throughout the school year.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Active South Carolina LLR license
- Current South Carolina Educator Certificate
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services for K-5th grade students according to IEP requirements
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain thorough student records, progress reports, and documentation
- Participate in student evaluation, eligibility meetings, and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to maximize each child's progress
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
