Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with a diverse student population and collaborating with educators and families
- Comfortable supporting students across all grade levels (K-12)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop tailored treatment plans and provide direct therapy services to students with varying needs
- Engage with teachers, administrators, and parents to set appropriate goals and recommend interventions
- Monitor student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and prepare progress reports as required
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering professional input and support
- Serve as a resource to school staff regarding speech-language development and disorders
