Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Kenosha, Wisconsin
Make an impact in the lives of students by providing essential speech and language services in a supportive school environment. This full-time, contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives working with pediatrics and enjoys collaborating with diverse learners. You’ll work a consistent 40-hour week during the 2026-2027 school year, focusing primarily on an engaging caseload of 5th–8th graders, along with opportunities to assist with 4-year-olds through 8th grade.
Applicants with clinical fellowship year (CFY) status are encouraged to apply, as well as those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Teletherapy experience is a plus, but the role will be onsite for the time being.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current SLP licensure for Wisconsin, or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly desired; CFY also considered
- School-based and pediatric SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfort working primarily with 5th–8th grade students, plus early childhood through middle school
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to designated caseload
- Assess students for communication and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain and update accurate student records in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student goals
This role offers a consistent schedule with 40 hours per week onsite at one location, providing the stability and sense of community that comes with extended school-year assignments.
